The name Littoral points toward the meeting place of land and water, a boundary constantly redrawn by the tide. That inspiration explains the tension inside the composition. Mandarin orange and star anise arrive with brisk, aromatic energy. Seaweed and elemi resin pull the scent toward the shore, while sea shell and underwood round out the base. It's an ocean rendered through atmosphere: cold air, wet stone, distant brine, and the memory of salt left on skin after the water retreats.
The unusual part is how the aquatic idea refuses to stay light.
