Marshmallows Crush! arrived in 2017 as part of Arcana Craves' Marshmallows Attack! collection, the indie label's playful riff on a single, deeply specific craving. The house had built its reputation on pairing familiar comfort foods with an unexpected olfactory twist, and marshmallow was the next obvious, and not at all obvious, move. The brand treats each scent as a short narrative, an edible scene rendered in glass, and this one stands out as a particularly indulgent expression of that philosophy. As part of the broader Arcana Wildcraft universe, Arcana Craves carved out its own lane, a sister collection that shares the parent house's gourmand sensibility while staking a claim on sweeter, more confectionary territory. Each bottle in the Marshmallows Attack!
What makes this composition worth attention is the tension between its main accords.
