The Story
Why it exists.
The beginning
Ajmal's Blanche Collection III arrived in 2024 as a fruity-floral fragrance built on raspberry, peony, rose, and violet, anchored by vanilla, amber, and moss. The scent captures a sense of lightness and clarity, blending bright fruit notes with soft florals over a warm, grounding base. It presents itself as a clean, airy composition that feels contemporary and accessible.
What makes Blanche Collection III stand apart is the heart. Peony, rose, and violet together create a soft, powdery effect that feels almost translucent. The moss in the base is doing real work too. It keeps the vanilla and amber from going entirely sweet, adding an earthy counterweight that gives the drydown dimension. Without it, this would be another pleasant fruity-floral. With it, there's something worth staying with.
The evolution
The opening is bright. Raspberry takes the lead, that particular sweetness of a berry that reads tart, alive, immediate. Over time, the florals arrive. Peony first, then rose, then violet layering in. The effect turns powdery, soft, almost translucent. By the drydown, the moss announces itself. It is damp, earthy, the smell of something green after rain. Vanilla and amber wrap around it, warm and close. The drydown is where this fragrance lives, something intimate and self-contained. It does not fill a room. It sits with you.
Cultural impact
The Blanche Collection represents a different direction for Ajmal, offering a lighter, more contemporary approach to fragrance composition. By focusing on fruity and floral elements, this collection provides an alternative perspective on scent creation. The line taps into the appeal of light, airy compositions that offer a fresh take on traditional perfumery.
