Roja Dove
Roja Dove (born Roger Dove, September 25, 1956) grew up in Sussex, England, discovering his calling at age six when his mother's perfume lingered in his room after she kissed him goodnight. He dropped out of university to pursue perfumery, and after persistently writing to Guerlain requesting opportunities, the house's founder offered him a position. He joined their Training and Public Relations Department in 1981, eventually becoming Global Ambassador, the first non-family member to hold that title. After nearly two decades at Guerlain, he established his own companies and in 2004 opened the Roja Dove Haute Parfumerie at Harrods. He launched Roja Parfums in 2011 and was later honored as an Ambassador for the GREAT Britain Campaign. GQ has called him "one of the finest noses in the world."
