Seeking a fragrance that could echo the solemnity of a winter night in Emmaboda while recalling the opulent incense of ancient bazaars, he layered bright citrus with regal saffron and herbaceous thyme, then wove in a heart of Bulgarian rose and amber before grounding the piece in sustainably sourced Indonesian oud and Nordic woods.

The juxtaposition of saffron and geranium is deliberate: saffron brings a metallic, almost animalic sparkle that cuts through the green crispness of geranium, while thyme adds a subtle earthiness that bridges the floral and the woody.
