Bombshell Lagos dropped in 2023 as part of Victoria's Secret's Bombshell collection. Lagos is the inspiration here: a port city in West Africa, dense with markets, music, and a particular golden light that makes everything feel alive. The perfumers translated that sensory overload into a compact three-note composition built around peony, tamarind, and yellow hibiscus. Each note carries its own temperature: peony brings the soft, layered petal quality, tamarind cuts in with its sharp, almost sour fruit character, and yellow hibiscus adds a warm, slightly honeyed dimension that reads more golden than sugary. The three notes stack rather than compete, which keeps the whole thing feeling immediate and breathable. Less is more when the place itself is already loud.
