The evolution

The opening is whipped cream and musk, light, slightly sweet, quietly lifted. No urgency. Then the lokum arrives, bringing Turkish delight forward, softened by white honey and almond, and suddenly it becomes powdery in the way good vintage scarves used to be. Orchid adds feminine warmth that keeps it from tipping into pure sweetness. By the drydown, the musk comes forward and the florals settle. Musk closest to the skin, vanilla taking over the drydown, orchid and powdery notes carrying through to the end. Close enough that someone standing near you will notice. On some skin, the lokum resurfaces hours later, a late whisper of rose and almond.
