Siam Pasha arrives in 2026 as part of Kinana's Organic Oud collection, a line built around oud in its most unadorned state. The composition takes oud as its sole material and presents it without embellishment, no supporting cast of florals or fruits to distract from what the wood itself has to say. What emerges is a meditation on a single ingredient treated with seriousness, stripped of ornamentation, and allowed to carry the entire weight of the composition. Three regional expressions of oud form the foundation, each contributing its own voice to a conversation that unfolds entirely within one family of materials.
What makes Siam Pasha unusual is its restraint. Rather than building a pyramid around oud, the composition essentially is oud, three expressions layered to create depth without distraction. Cambodian oud, Laotian oud, and Sri Lankan oud each contribute their distinct character to the blend, meeting on common ground while retaining their individual inflections. The result feels like a single material refracted through different prisms, each angle revealing something new about the same substance. This isn't oud dressed up in other notes.
