Kilian Hennessy launched Love Don't Be Shy in 2007 as part of The Narcotics, a collection built around the idea that fragrance could be addictive in the most literal sense. Calice Becker composed the juice, and the official story leans into imagery of innocence and sweetness. Honeysuckle and rose caressed by marshmallow sugar, the kind of softness that marks the first rush of attraction before anything complicated sets in. Becker's hand shows in how the gourmand elements behave.
