Gisada Switzerland was founded in 2013 by Arben Ademi in Zurich, Switzerland. Ademi built the company from scratch, reportedly transforming it into a notable presence in the Swiss market and beyond. The company is owned by Swiss Fragrance GmbH and has established international distribution across 81 countries. Gisada released its first fragrance in 2016, and the collection has grown to 21 perfumes spanning men's, women's, and unisex categories. The Ambassador line launched in 2019 with dedicated fragrances for men and women, marking a key expansion in the brand's portfolio. In October 2020, Gisada entered Austrian retail through a partnership with Marionnaud, gaining access to 88 stores. The following year brought the release of Ambassador Intense, expanding the Ambassador family. In 2022, Gisada entered the travel retail sector through a partnership with Dufry, broadening its international reach. The brand restyled its luxury line in 2023, maintaining relevance in a competitive market. Recent releases include Titanium in 2024, followed by Verde and Paraiba in 2025, alongside new variants such as Uomo, Madagascar, and Gold.
Gisada approaches fragrance creation with a dedication to Swiss precision and balance. The company invests considerable effort in testing different combinations of notes until the right formulation is discovered. Rather than flooding the market with frequent releases, the brand expands its collections for men, women, and unisex fragrances with careful deliberation. The house collaborates with perfumers including Andreas Wilhelm, Lucas Sieuzac, Max Buxton, and Olaf Larsen, each bringing distinct expertise to the brand's vision. Gisada's fragrances are characterized by higher fragrance oil concentration than typical industry standards, influencing both longevity and sillage. Each composition reportedly aims to be striking, with refined balance expressed through precision and care. The brand's philosophy centers on Swiss craftsmanship, where tradition meets meticulous attention to detail.
