    Nikolay Eremin

Nikolay Eremin grew up amid the cobblestone streets of Riga, where his mother introduced him to aromatherapy. The scent of dried herbs and the hum of classical music sparked a curiosity that later guided his career. He moved to Saint‑Petersburg to study chemistry before apprenticing at a boutique laboratory. In 2015 he launched Nimere Parfums, a house that now houses more than thirty niche releases. The debut collection, anchored by the chypre‑inspired Aurora Borealis, earned praise from collectors and secured his reputation as a daring auteur. Since then he has crafted fragrances that blend green fruit, nutty accords, and luminous florals, each reflecting a personal soundtrack. His work has appeared in niche boutiques across Europe and Asia, and he continues to mentor young noses while expanding his olfactory library.

    How Nikolay composes

Nikolay favors a palette that juxtaposes fresh green notes with rich, nutty bases. Fig, hazelnut, and milk often appear in his openings, while amber, benzoin, and iris provide depth. He employs precise layering, allowing each accord to breathe before the next is introduced. His technique includes a brief maceration period that lets volatile top notes settle, creating a seamless transition to the heart. He frequently revisits classic structures such as chypre, but reinterprets them with modern ingredients, resulting in scents that feel familiar yet strikingly new.

    Philosophy

    What drives Nikolay

Nikolay treats each perfume like a composition. He listens to a client’s story, then translates that narrative into scent. Music supplies the tempo; ingredients supply the melody. He believes that a fragrance should reveal itself gradually, inviting the wearer to explore hidden layers. He avoids trends that chase novelty for its own sake, preferring instead to honor the memory a note can evoke. For him, the act of blending is a dialogue between tradition and invention, and the ultimate goal is to create a scent that feels both intimate and unforgettable.
