    Céline Perdriel

Céline Perdriel grew up in the quiet suburbs of Paris, where the scent of fresh laundry and the citrus peel of her grandmother’s kitchen sparked a lifelong curiosity. After high school she enrolled in a chemistry program, then earned a place at ISIPCA in Versailles, the French academy that molds most of the industry’s leading noses. Fresh from graduation she joined Robertet, learning the rigors of raw-material selection and the chemistry behind every accord. In 2015 she accepted a senior role at Cosmo International Fragrances, where she now directs a Parisian creative team and coordinates with studios in Miami. Her first major public success arrived when her composition “Mouillette d’Argent” reached the finals of the International Perfume Competition, confirming her reputation for precise, emotionally resonant blends. Today she balances laboratory discipline with an instinctive love of memory, guiding each project from concept to the final spray.

    The signature

    How Céline composes

Céline favors aromatic fougere and woody-spicy architectures, yet she does not shy away from bright citrus or creamy amber. In “Absinthe Lavender” she pairs the herbal edge of wormwood with the clean lift of lavender, creating a crisp, slightly bitter opening that settles into a soft, herbaceous heart. “Santal Fig” showcases her love of texture, blending creamy sandalwood with the green, milky facet of ripe fig to produce a smooth, lingering dry-down. She often layers natural extracts with synthetics to achieve precision, using ambergris-type molecules to add depth without overpowering the natural core. Her signatures include a disciplined use of contrast, a preference for clear, linear progressions, and a subtle nod to classic French craftsmanship.

    Philosophy

    What drives Céline

Céline’s creative compass points toward memory and material. She believes a fragrance must translate a personal moment into a universal scent, not a decorative flourish. Her process starts with a single note that triggers an emotion; she then builds a structure that respects the chemistry of each ingredient while allowing the heart to breathe. She avoids trends that feel forced, preferring instead the quiet power of contrast—sweet against smoky, bright against earthy. For her, the laboratory is a workshop where intuition meets measurement, and every batch receives the same meticulous attention she applied as a student. The result is a collection of scents that feel both immediate and enduring.
