A house, in its own words
Redolere Parfums is the creation of Obaid Hassan Al Ali, who founded the house and serves as its CEO. The brand operates as an independent niche label headquartered in the United Arab Emirates, a country that has become an unlikely but fertile ground for ambitious perfumery in recent years. Rather than anchoring itself to a single regional tradition, the house draws inspiration from a wide geographic range, positioning its Emirati base as a meeting point for olfactory references gathered from across the Mediterranean, Europe, and the Middle East. The brand entered the fragrance conversation in the mid 2020s, building recognition through releases such as Espresso d'Florence in 2025, a gourmand composition that openly pays homage to Florence. The name Redolere itself comes from a Latin verb meaning to emit a strong scent or to be fragrant, a deliberate choice that signals the brand's classical instincts even as its portfolio stays rooted in contemporary niche perfumery. Its early trajectory reflects the path taken by many modern independent houses: a small core of releases, a founder-led vision, and a focus on storytelling that distinguishes each launch from the crowded marketplace. At the heart of Redolere is a conviction that great fragrance is storytelling in liquid form. Obaid Hassan Al Ali has described the brand as weaving narratives from specific places and moments, and every release is built around a clearly defined concept rather than an abstract mood. A scent is meant to transport, to summon a café in Florence or the stillness of a desert morning, and wearers are invited to step into that scene rather than guess at it. The house rejects the idea that luxury perfume must come from a single European capital to carry weight. By operating from the UAE and referencing cultures across continents, Redolere positions itself as a bridge between Eastern and Western perfumery traditions, treating both as sources of legitimate inspiration. This global outlook also shapes the perfumer selection process, leaning on international noses whose individual signatures can serve distinct creative briefs. The result is a small but eclectic portfolio in which each bottle carries its own fully realized identity rather than variations on a house code.
