Kiasi arrived in 2024 from Chavalia Dunlap-Mwamba's studio, the newest addition to a line she has built over time. The word itself carries weight beyond translation, and Chavalia's interpretation reads quieter than the name might suggest. Kiasi is a floral-green composition built on iris, violet, and lavender, tempered by green tea and grounded in amberwood and sandalwood. Where the brand's earlier releases leaned into muted woods, this one opens a window. Citrus cuts through the powder from the very first spray, giving the otherwise soft structure a clear, bright edge. The green tea weaves through the heart, lifting the iris and violet with a clean, leafy quality that keeps the composition from feeling heavy.
What makes Kiasi distinctive is the conversation between powder and green.
