A house, in its own words
Fabrizio Tagliacarne began his career shaping metal and gemstones, a path that taught him how to balance form and function. In 2009 he founded Omnia Profumi, an Italian atelier that explored the chemistry of scent while still honoring his jewellery roots. The company celebrated its tenth anniversary in 2019, a milestone that prompted Tagliacarne to launch a personal fragrance line under his own name. The inaugural perfume, Icio, appeared that year and signaled a shift from supporting other brands to expressing his own olfactory narrative. Two years later, US66 entered the catalogue, followed by Zoe in 2022, each piece reflecting a different facet of Tagliacarne’s artistic vocabulary. By 2026 the line expanded with Phen, a scent that incorporates experimental accords while retaining the house’s signature restraint. Throughout this period the brand has remained anchored in Florence, drawing on local artisans for glasswork and sourcing raw materials from European farms that meet strict quality standards. The evolution from jewellery to perfume illustrates a continuous thread of craftsmanship, where every new launch builds on a decade‑long dialogue between visual and aromatic design. The house treats fragrance as a tactile experience, a belief that stems from Tagliacarne’s background in jewellery making. He describes his work as a dialogue between scent and memory, aiming to capture moments that listeners can wear. The brand avoids broad claims of innovation; instead it focuses on clarity of composition and respect for each ingredient’s character. Tagliacarne collaborates with independent noses, allowing each perfume to emerge from a shared creative conversation rather than a single author’s vision. Sustainability informs sourcing decisions; the team prefers ingredients that are harvested with minimal environmental impact and works with suppliers who can trace their supply chain. Transparency guides the brand’s communication, with each release accompanied by notes on the raw materials, the perfumer’s inspiration and the intended mood. This approach reflects a belief that consumers appreciate honesty as much as they value the scent itself.
