Why it exists.
The beginning
Dolce Blue Jasmine arrived in 2024, created by perfumer Alexandra Carlin. The name carries its own direction: not the deeper interpretations of jasmine that came before, but something cooler, more luminous. Carlin worked with Sicilian fig as the opening act, a bright and distinctly green note that establishes the fragrance's tone immediately. The fig provides a clean fruitiness that feels energetic without being heavy, giving the composition an immediate sense of clarity. Jasmine sambac takes the center stage, but here it plays a translucent version of itself, more dew than petal. The floral heart is lifted and airy, allowing the other notes to remain present rather than being swallowed by indolic richness.
