The beginning
Vampiren Veil is the house's ode to Transylvanian legend, a scent that opens like a door left ajar in a dim corridor. The perfumer chose strawberry for its unmistakable sweetness, jasmine for its floral softness, and anchored both in the dark depths of black amber and fir resin. These materials ground the composition, pulling the sweetness toward something more substantial and grounded. The initial burst of strawberry hits the nose first, vivid and direct, but it doesn't stay alone for long. Jasmine arrives to soften the edges, adding a gentle floral layer that tempers the fruit without overpowering it. Beneath both, the black amber and fir resin hold everything down, giving the fragrance a dark, resinous foundation that feels like candlelight in an old stone room.
Strawberry arrives first, ripe and vivid, sweet and almost tart on first contact.
