Heritage
A house, in its own words
Roberto Braccialini established his leather goods workshop in Florence during 1954, creating a family enterprise that would become synonymous with imaginative Florentine craftsmanship. The company distinguished itself through intricate handwork, bold patterns, and an ornamental aesthetic that set it apart from conventional leather accessories. The founding family, particularly the partnership of Carla and Roberto Braccialini, developed the decorative motifs and vibrant design language that defined the brand. Over subsequent decades, Braccialini expanded methodically from its Florentine origins into international markets. The company established retail presence across 40 countries, operating 50 mono-brand boutiques that showcased its leather collections alongside emerging lifestyle products. In March 2017, Graziella announced the acquisition of the historic Florentine house, bringing the brand under new ownership while maintaining its connection to Tuscan heritage. The fragrance division launched in 2008 with the introduction of Braccialini Women, a namesake scent that translated the house aesthetic into olfactory form. Eight additional fragrances followed through 2018, including Cherry Chic, Purple, Blue Casual, Braccialini Fashion, Glossy Green, Decò, and the earlier Braccialini Eau de Parfum Pour Femme. Braccialini approaches fragrance with the same decorative sensibility that defines its leather collections. The brand's aesthetic draws from Italian craft tradition, embracing ornamentation, color, and playful detail rather than minimal restraint. Each fragrance concept begins with an expressive idea, often inspired by color, mood, or lifestyle, rather than following mainstream fragrance categories. The house favors unexpected combinations and sensory richness over predictable compositions. This approach reflects the founding vision of creating products that spark joy through their imagination and craftsmanship. The brand maintains that perfume, like its leather goods, should communicate personality and emotional resonance rather than serving merely as a background scent. Braccialini's philosophy also honors its Florentine context, drawing on the city's long tradition of artisanal excellence while expressing it through contemporary, sometimes whimsical, interpretations. The result is a fragrance collection that maintains coherence with the broader brand identity while offering distinct olfactory personalities across the range.
