Nisrine Bouazzaoui Grillié
Nisrine Bouazzaoui Grillié grew up in Casablanca, where scent shaped her earliest memories. That sensory richness led her to France, where she pursued chemistry and engineering with quiet determination. She had no connections in the fragrance world when she started searching for an internship as a technician. She simply followed her curiosity. That open-mindedness carried her through Givaudan's doors and into perfumery, where she discovered that science and art could share the same vocabulary. Based in Paris, she joined Givaudan's fine-fragrance team and built a portfolio that spans accessible, creative fragrances with Dries Van Noten and Les Liquides Imaginaires to luxury collaborations with Moncler and Dolce and Gabbana. Her work reflects both her Moroccan roots and her French training, bridging two worlds without trying to explain either.

How Nisrine composes
Clean structure defines Nisrine's compositions. She favors accords that remain legible within the whole, so each layer contributes without disappearing into noise. She gravitates toward transparent florals, bright green notes, and soft woods that ground without overwhelming. Her work with Santal Greenery shows her comfort with duality, blending verdant freshness with creamy warmth. Across her portfolio, from the boldness of Desert Suave to the softness of Dolce Lily, her signature lies in controlled restraint and an insistence that every note earns its place. She works with natural and synthetic materials equally, choosing what serves the idea rather than following convention.
Philosophy
What drives Nisrine
Nisrine calls her approach frank and readable. She believes a perfume should smell like what it claims to be, and beyond that, it should say something worth hearing. To her, fragrance is more than a pleasant smell. It carries meaning. She resists the idea that scent must be mysterious or coded. Her creations aim for clarity without being simple, precision without being cold. She chooses to work with ingredients that speak directly, and she trusts the wearer to meet them halfway. That honesty shapes everything she builds.
