Linda Pilkington began collecting essences and vintage bottles at fourteen, spending two decades honing her palate before founding Ormonde Jayne in 2000. She named the house for her middle name and the London neighborhood she once called home. What started as candles produced at her kitchen table grew into a respected Mayfair fragrance house where Pilkington creates every perfume herself, drawing ingredients gathered from travels worldwide. Her work with master perfumer Geza Schoen shapes certain Ormonde Jayne compositions.
