Koray Sevinç
Koray Sevinç grew up in the historic town of Amasya, where the scent of pine forests and spice markets lingered in every corner of his childhood. He admits that he "always loved smelling everything around me," a habit that turned into a lifelong obsession. After completing a chemistry degree, he followed his nose to Istanbul and earned a junior perfumer position at MG International Fragrance Company. The first project that put his name on the map arrived in 2019 with Diamond Of Velvet, a composition that married saffron’s warmth with peach’s bright spark and a whisper of violet leaf. Two years later he crafted Nazen, a fresh, green‑oriented scent that highlighted his skill at balancing fruit and foliage. Most recently, Heroine Eau de Parfum Seven Gates showcased his ability to translate delicate narratives into bottle form. Today, Sevinç is known for turning personal memories into aromatic stories that resonate with a global audience, while still honoring the craft’s rigorous technical foundations.

How Koray composes
In the studio, Sevinç favors a clear structure: a vivid opening, a nuanced heart, and a lingering finish. He often starts with aromatic spices such as saffron or pink pepper, then introduces fruit accents like peach or pomelo to add lift. The middle layers draw on floral greens—violet leaf, jasmine, or subtle rose—to create depth, while the base grounds the composition with amber, cedar, or soft musk. He prefers natural extracts when they meet his purity standards, but he does not shy away from synthetics that add precision. His signatures include a bright, almost tactile top and a warm, resonant dry‑down that rewards repeated wear.
Philosophy
What drives Koray
Sevinç treats each formula as a memory capsule. He believes that a scent should instantly recall a feeling, a place, or a moment, and he builds his creations around that anchor. Quality ingredients earn his respect; he sources raw materials that retain their natural character and lets them speak without excessive modification. Rather than chasing trends, he follows the emotional truth of a brief, letting intuition guide the balance between bright top notes and lingering bases. This discipline keeps his work grounded while allowing each perfume to surprise the wearer with subtle shifts over time.
