Something in that storytelling discipline translated when she discovered fragrance. In 2021, she founded OM Parfum, a Taiwanese house built on the belief that scent carries meaning the way great writing does. Liu approaches composition like she once approached scripts: with careful attention to structure, character, and the emotions that linger after the final scene. Her work remains rare but precise. With roughly ten fragrances to her name, including the acclaimed Aftermath, she has established herself as an independent voice in contemporary perfumery, one who insists that each creation say something worth hearing.
