Luwak Touch was born from Bahfamsn’s fascination with the legendary Kopi Luwak experience. In 2022 Sonali Said and Kriss Mokhtar blended beans from El Salvador, Brazil, Sumatra and Sumatran robusta, pairing them with four distinct gaharu (oud) plantations and wild rare gaharu. The composition also draws on three resinoids, dry amber, dry sawdust wood, Indonesian and Indian patchouli, and west Indian sandalwood. The result is a scent that captures the black‑roasted coffee essence while echoing the rainforest’s earthy heart.

What makes this blend striking is the juxtaposition of raw, almost tactile sawdust wood against the deep, bitter coffee. The dry amber adds a subtle, sun‑kissed glow, while the animalic, smoky undertones from the gaharu give the fragrance a lingering depth that feels both primal and refined. Patchouli and sandalwood anchor the base, turning the gourmand coffee into a grounded, forest‑like experience that feels authentic to the brand’s Bornean highland roots.

The opening erupts with a sharp sawdust bite, instantly followed by a thick plume of black‑roasted Arabica that feels like a steaming espresso shot in a rain‑soaked alley.
