Texas Hold 'Em dropped in 2024 as part of Victoria's Secret's Rhinestone Cowgirl Collection, a lineup that arrived in the middle of a full cultural moment. Cowboy aesthetics were everywhere, and VS, never one to sit out a cultural shift, leaned in with their own version: rhinestones, Western energy, and a femininity that didn't ask permission to take up space. The name borrows from poker, from Texas, from a certain kind of American mythology that the brand has always been happy to claim. The question was whether they'd actually commit to the bit. Looking at the notes, cactus water, green apple, acacia, the answer is yes, in unexpected ways.
The note structure is what separates this from standard warm-vanilla territory.
