A house, in its own words
Olfactive Traveller arrived in 2025, but its roots stretch back further. Co-founders Marcelo Oillataguerre and Kevin Truong built KM Fragrance Tours in 2022, a luxury travel venture born from a single trip to Esxence, Milan's renowned perfume trade show. What started as one visit became a calling. They began curating intimate, small-group experiences for perfume enthusiasts, guiding them through the workshops, ateliers, and hidden corners of Italian cities where fragrance culture runs deep. Years of leading these trips shaped their understanding of how a city breathes through its raw materials and olfactory traditions. Milan spoke of contemporary composition. Florence whispered Renaissance refinement. Rome carried something older, more layered, steeped in Mediterranean warmth. Rather than keep these impressions as travel memories, the founders wanted to bottle them. Olfactive Traveller became that ambition made tangible, a fragrance house designed to honor the places that inspired its creators while inviting wearers to feel transported. Olfactive Traveller operates on a simple conviction: scent can hold the memory of a place more vividly than a photograph. The founders reject the idea that fragrance should exist in isolation from where it comes from. Each release is tethered to a specific Italian city, drawing on its history, architecture, light, and local ingredients to construct a complete sensory portrait. The house embraces collaboration over ego. By working with perfumer Luca Maffei, a respected Italian nose known for blending classical technique with modern sensibility, the founders ensure their vision meets genuine artisanal craft. The result is a collection that feels curated rather than manufactured, intimate rather than mass-produced.
