A house, in its own words
Mohammadreza Kazemian founded his house in Iran, emerging as a self-taught independent perfumer who rejected conventional industry paths. Starting with a small collection of focused, personal scents, he built the brand around a philosophy of imaginative freedom rather than commercial calculation. His first releases appeared in 2019, including Like Father Like Son, Taboo With Makeup, and Khatoon, establishing an immediate signature of bold conceptual naming and layered composition. By 2020, the house expanded significantly with Sweet Delusion, Night in Yazd, and Oud Collection No 3, showing range from playful florals to serious oud explorations. The house opened a retail presence in Yerevan, Armenia, signaling ambitions beyond Iran. The brand maintains an independent structure, with Kazemian serving as both founder and creator, avoiding outside perfumers and keeping full creative control. Each release continues to reflect his personal vision rather than market research, positioning the house as a genuine auteur project within the niche fragrance landscape. The house operates from a stated belief that attitude and original thinking make all the difference in facing any situation. Rather than constructing elaborate origin stories or heritage myths, Kazemian grounds his work in personal interpretation and emotional honesty. The fantasy world he references is not escapism but a framework for reimagining the familiar through scent. His naming conventions prove deliberately provocative and narrative-driven, encouraging wearers to project their own meanings onto each composition. This approach creates an unusual intimacy between creator and wearer, with the fragrances serving as open invitations rather than closed statements. The house resists easy categorization, moving between oriental richness and modern restraint without committing to a single aesthetic doctrine.
