Heritage
A house, in its own words
Kylie Minogue entered the fragrance world on 9 November 2006 with Darling, a scent she described as wanting to combine strength and movement. Created in collaboration with renowned perfumer Thierry Wasser, the fragrance became her signature and laid the foundation for an extensive perfume line. Following Darling's success, she expanded rapidly with releases including Sweet Darling (2007), the Showtime duo (2008), and Couture (2009), each iteration reflecting different facets of her personality. In 2021, she revamped Darling with an updated, vegan-friendly formula, demonstrating her commitment to evolving with her audience. The most recent chapter arrived in 2025 with the Lovers collection—Lovers Fleur and Lovers Noir—developed with Principal Perfumer Ilias Ermenidis. These two fragrances were designed to harmonize while standing apart, representing the duality that has defined her career spanning five decades in entertainment.
Kylie Minogue describes her approach to fragrance as an extension of her identity. She wanted Darling to reflect her multifaceted persona, capturing both the strength and the graceful movement that characterize her performances. Working with master perfumers, she sought to create scents that feel intimate yet confident, feminine without being fragile. The Lovers collection continues this tradition, with the two fragrances designed to dance to the same rhythm while maintaining distinct souls. Her philosophy centers on accessibility—she wants wearers to feel empowered, not intimidated. Each fragrance in her line represents a different chapter or mood, allowing fans to find a scent that resonates with their own personality.
