A house, in its own words
Giorgia Rigano founded her eponymous fragrance house in 2022, stepping into perfumery with a clear creative thesis: scent as ritual, and ritual as a bridge between cultures. The brand was developed from Italy, with Rigano serving as founder, CEO, and creative director from the outset. She positioned the project as a contemporary luxury fragrance house rooted in storytelling, emotion, and identity, an unusual triple emphasis for a house of its size. The first edition, Eden, arrived in 2025, followed the next year by Eden Rouge, signaling a deliberate pace of growth. In 2025, the brand expanded its physical retail footprint through a partnership with Ottaviano Parfums et Beauté, a recognized destination for niche perfumery in Italy, marking one of its earliest confirmed third-party retail relationships. The house's output to date includes a small number of compositions, each released with a distinct narrative frame: Eden as an origin piece, Eden Rouge as a deepening, and SAHAR as a foray into oud-driven territory with Arabic-language branding. Giorgia Rigano approaches perfumancy as a form of cultural translation. The brand's own language frames scent and ritual as inseparable, a philosophy visible in how each launch is presented not merely as a product but as a moment or threshold (the phrase 'the last thing you do before you leave' has appeared in the brand's own copy, positioning fragrance as a closing gesture on the day's identity). Rigano has described the house as blending cultures through scent, and the compositions reflect that: Eden draws on Mediterranean references (cedarwood, hay, peach, incense, imagery of Sicily), while SAHAR turns toward the Arabian oud tradition. The brand treats fragrance as a wearable layer of self-definition, designed to be applied to hair and body as part of a daily ritual rather than a single-use accessory. This dual function, olfactory and cosmetic, shapes every formulation decision.
