Heritage
A house, in its own words
Faizal Privée began life in 2024 as a private fragrance group, a circle of devoted collectors and curious noses exploring compositions built around oud and its allied materials. The response was strong enough that the project graduated into a proper house, and in January 2025 Faizal Privée launched officially to the public. Behind the brand stands a founder with over a decade of experience in the agarwood sector, someone who learned the material long before turning it into perfume. That long apprenticeship in raw oud shapes every decision the house makes, from sourcing to formulation. The company is registered in London as Faizal Privee Fragrances Ltd, giving the house a distinctly British corporate home while drawing its creative fuel from the Eastern traditions of oud perfumery. The Signature Line, a collection of five fragrances, marks where the story started: aged rose and deep oud, luminous musk and vanilla, and other compositions that established the house's point of view. Since launch, Faizal Privée has moved quickly into international retail, with stockists including FortuneSoul in Guangzhou and Aroma Avenue in Abu Dhabi, putting the brand in front of collectors across Asia and the Gulf. A growing roster of flankers and extensions has followed, expanding on the original five. At Faizal Privée, fragrance is treated as the most intimate form of self-expression. The house builds its compositions around a clear point of view: oud is the centerpiece, and everything else is calibrated to bring out a different facet of that material. Rather than chasing trends or flooding the market, the brand works deliberately and selectively. Each release is meant to feel personal, a reflection of the founder's taste and the traditions that shaped his understanding of agarwood. The result is a catalog that values conviction over volume. The house sees oud not as a novelty but as a raw material worthy of serious study. Compositions pair it with aged rose, luminous musk, vanilla, iris, oakmoss and ambergris, always looking for the tension between Eastern richness and Western structure. That balance, between heritage and refinement, between depth and wearability, is the creative through line.
