Heritage
A house, in its own words
Enrique Iglesias launched his fragrance career in 2014 with Adrenaline, marking his entry into the celebrity perfume market. The collaboration with Coty positioned the launch within a major beauty conglomerate's portfolio of celebrity fragrances. Iglesias had previously served as the face of Tommy Hilfiger's True Star Men in 2005, giving him prior experience in fragrance marketing before developing his own scent. Working alongside Givaudan's senior perfumer Guillaume Flavigny, he participated in the creation process for Adrenaline, which became the foundation of his fragrance line. The success of the initial launch led to three additional flankers released in 2015: Adrenaline Night, Deeply Yours for Him, and Deeply Yours for Her. These releases expanded the collection into gender-specific offerings, with the Deeply Yours pair targeting couples seeking matching scents. The brand's brief but focused release schedule between 2014 and 2015 established a complete collection before Iglesias returned primary attention to his music career.
The Enrique Iglesias fragrance line reflects the singer's approach to pop music: accessible, energetic, and designed for broad appeal. Rather than positioning the scents as artistic statements, the collection functions as an extension of his entertainment brand, offering fans a sensory connection to his persona. The gender-specific releases, particularly the paired Deeply Yours scents, suggest an understanding of how celebrity fragrances serve as gifts and relationship markers. The Adrenaline Night variant indicates an intent to provide versatility across occasions, from daytime wear to more intense evening settings. The partnership with Givaudan brought professional perfumery expertise to the line, elevating the scents beyond simple celebrity merchandise into products with structural complexity. The philosophy appears to balance mass-market accessibility with enough olfactory substance to satisfy consumers who evaluate fragrances on their own merits rather than solely on the celebrity association.
