The Story
Why it exists.
The beginning
In Love arrived from Cyzone, a fragrance brand that markets the composition under Belcorp and positions it as a playful, emotionally direct scent for women, a perfume whose name does the promising for you. The composition came from the bench of Claudio de Deus, who is credited alongside Givaudan in the perfumery credits. In Love sits inside Cyzone's broader portfolio of fruit-forward florals, a recognizable category the brand has developed across Latin America. The juice itself keeps things simple: peach, a soft floral heart, and a base built around sandalwood and vanilla. The peach opens with a bright, ripe sweetness that feels almost candied at first whiff, a juicy fruit character that announces itself before anything else has time to settle.
What makes this composition worth a second look is how the peach does the heavy structural work. Here it gets reinforced by sandalwood and a vanilla that reads lactonic, almost milky in its softness. The florals in the middle don't fight for attention; they blur into the fruit like a watercolor bleeding into wet paper. It's a deliberate softness, and it works because nothing tries to be more than it is. The way the fruit holds its shape through the early wear, then gradually yields to the woody base, gives the fragrance a sense of architecture.
The evolution
The first ten minutes are all peach, ripe and almost syrupy, with a bright floral wash that feels more like a breeze than a bouquet. Around the twenty-minute mark, the fruit starts to share space with something warmer. The sandalwood grounds the composition without darkening it, and the vanilla arrives as a creaminess rather than a sweetness. By hour two, the whole thing has settled into a skin-scent quality, close and powdery, with the peach now reading as a memory rather than a presence. The shift from opening to heart happens almost imperceptibly, the way a color changes when you stare at it long enough. The peach never really leaves, it just stops shouting and starts murmuring, tucked inside the creaminess of the sandalwood and the soft hum of vanilla. As the hours pass, the florals recede almost entirely, leaving behind a pale, warm aura that sits close to the skin.
Cultural impact
In Love fits within a recognizable corner of the fragrance landscape, the sweet, fruit-driven category that has shaped much of Cyzone's recognizable output. It wears like an everyday signature rather than a statement piece, the kind of scent that becomes part of someone's routine rather than reserved for special occasions. Inside Cyzone's own portfolio, the fragrance reads as one of the brand's softer, more romantic offerings, less intense than the Sweet Black line and more feminine than the Forze series.
