As a young man, he witnessed a traumatic event that left him with PTSD, a condition he managed largely alone until his late 30s. Perfume became a way to process and connect with the world. He draws inspiration from Islamic perfumery traditions, attars, and attirs, incorporating ingredients like Mysore sandalwood, oud, agarwood, Taif rose, and pure orris butter. His signature approach involves layering natural essential oils with high-quality aroma molecules to achieve both depth and longevity.
