Delicate Iris entered the Signature Scent Lab collection in 2025. The fragrance takes iris, that most powdery and aristocratic of florals, and lets it breathe. The violet-dust elegance of iris is grounded by a caramel musk that keeps it warm rather than cold. The result is a fragrance that doesn't argue for attention.
What makes Delicate Iris interesting isn't what it adds, but what it leaves out. Iris sits in a tricky space in perfumery, it can swing powdery and cold or earthy and rooty. This version leans into the gilded, almost violet-like softness, then anchors it with a caramel note that reads more confection than chemistry. The musk base is soft, clean, and present. It's the kind of restraint that takes skill to pull off.
The evolution

Part of the Signature Scent Lab collection, Delicate Iris offers a different register from much of the Bath & Body Works lineup. While the brand includes bolder, sweeter options, this one occupies a quieter space. It presents a more subtle floral character, with powdery iris at its core and a warm caramel-musk base that keeps things grounded rather than soaring.
