Olivia Larson
Olivia Larson grew up in Kolkata, India, but her creative life unfolded in Colorado, where she founded La Fleur by Livvy in 2013. She trained as an artist, earning a Bachelor's in Arts before discovering perfume as her medium. Self-taught at first, she sharpened her credentials with certifications from the International Perfume Foundation in both Natural Perfumery and French Natural Perfumery. Her early work attracted quiet attention within artisan circles, but recognition came formally in 2023 when La Fleur by Livvy won the New Luxury Brand Award at the Perfumery Congress in Barcelona. She represented the IPF at their 2025 Barcelona pavilion. Every fragrance still emerges from her studio in Colorado, where she personally handcrafts and fills each small batch.

How Olivia composes
Larson's style favors clarity and restraint. She gravitates toward natural materials that tell a specific story: resins that feel sun-warmed, florals with genuine botanical weight rather than synthetic brightness. Her blends tend to unfold slowly, giving each layer room to breathe. She avoids heavy sillage in favor of intimate projection, scents that reveal themselves to someone standing close rather than announcing themselves across a room. Her French natural perfumery training shows in a structural precision that keeps even her most romantic compositions grounded.
Philosophy
What drives Olivia
Larson draws from memory and place. Her Indian childhood suffuses her work with a particular awareness of scent as cultural memory. She approaches natural materials the way a painter approaches pigment: with respect for their variability and an understanding that imperfection carries character. Her commitment to natural ingredients and sustainable packaging reflects a belief that beauty should not cost the earth. She makes everything herself, in small quantities, because she wants to know exactly what goes into each bottle she sends out.
