Kedra Hart
Kedra Hart grew up in Southern California with roots in the Pacific Northwest, and she never followed the conventional route into perfumery. She launched her first business in 1988, long before the internet reshaped how the fragrance industry operated. That early entrepreneurial instinct eventually guided her toward scent as a medium. Over three decades later, she has become a multiple award-winning and FiFi nominated Master Perfumer who co-founded Opus Oils, establishing herself among the industry's most respected independent voices.

How Kedra composes
Hart bridges classical perfumery foundations with a distinctly Southern California sensibility. She favors high-quality naturals, drawn to the complexity and unpredictability they bring to a composition. Her work tends toward unexpected contrasts, layering depth and texture to build emotional complexity rather than surface appeal.
Philosophy
What drives Kedra
Hart treats scent as a language of emotion. Rather than chasing trends, she builds fragrances around personal narratives, believing the most compelling perfumes tell stories the wearer recognizes in their own life. Her bespoke work reflects this conviction, and she has brought that narrative sensibility to both personal and commercial fragrance projects. She once described her craft simply: she loves creating living, breathing art.
