    Jeremy Fragrance

Daniel Schütz arrived in the fragrance world the long way around, by way of two failed attempts at pop stardom and a growing obsession with cologne that he started broadcasting to the internet in 2014. Born Daniel Średziński to Polish parents in Germany, he rebranded himself with the surname of his mother's second husband and adopted the first name Jeremy for his YouTube channel, which he has described as a strategic choice made to be remembered. Within a few years, his energetic reviews and ranking videos turned him into what is arguably the most-watched fragrance creator online, a status built less on perfumery credentials than on relentless self-promotion and a flair for spectacle. He founded Fragrance One in 2016 as an extension of that personal brand, releasing scents he helped develop rather than formulated from scratch in a lab. His public persona, polished suits, signature catchphrases, and high-energy persona, has made him both a marketing force and a polarizing figure in the fragrance community.

    The signature

    How Jeremy composes

Because Jeremy commissions rather than composes in the traditional sense, his signature leans on the house perfumers he partners with, most notably the Italian atelier Borgioli, to execute a profile that matches his larger-than-life public image. The releases under Fragrance One tend to favor bold, crowd-pleasing masculine constructions: dense woody bases, sweet ambers, and noticeable performance aimed at the wearer who wants to be smelled across a room. Office for Men, his 2019 debut collaboration, set the template with its creamy sandalwood and warm spice profile. Rather than chasing nuance or restraint, his curated catalog chases projection and recognizability, fragrances engineered to function as accessories to the Jeremy Fragrance brand itself.

    Philosophy

    What drives Jeremy

Jeremy approaches fragrance the way he approaches content: as performance. His creative drive centers on accessibility and personal branding, the idea that a great-smelling person should also be a recognizable one. He has spoken openly about viewing cologne as a tool for confidence and visibility rather than a private artistic pursuit, and he recruits established perfumers to translate that vision into bottles that carry his name. Transparency about paid promotions and collaborations has become part of his public conversation, and he tends to position himself as a curator who amplifies rather than a quiet artisan who disappears behind the juice. Whether that philosophy wins over skeptics or not, it has produced a singular lane in modern fragrance: influencer-led, image-driven, and built for the camera as much as the skin.
