Jakub Florian Hiermann
Jakub Florian Hiermann inherited his love of fragrance from his grandmother, whose perfume wardrobe included Chanel No. 5. That early fascination led him toward formal training as a perfumer, and in 2018 he co-founded Pigmentarium alongside Tomáš Ric, establishing the Czech Republic's first niche perfume house. As the brand's creative nose, Hiermann developed six distinct fragrances that helped define the house's identity before departing to pursue his own vision. He now operates independently, releasing limited editions that showcase his evolving sensibility.

How Jakub composes
Hiermann gravitates toward woody-citrus structures with herbal and cool undertones. His signature materials include ginger, vetiver, and pink pepper, which he deploys to create scents that feel both refined and grounded. He achieves a particular balance between depth and refreshment, building complexity without heaviness, structure without rigidity.
Philosophy
What drives Jakub
Hiermann approaches fragrance as wearable storytelling. He seeks to bottle specific moments and emotional states rather than chasing trends. His work prioritizes intentionality: each material earns its place because it serves the composition's central idea. He believes a fragrance should communicate something true without requiring explanation, speaking directly to the wearer's intuition.
