Aleksandr Perevertaylo
Oleksandr Perevertaylo never attended fragrance school. He taught himself, and that self-taught beginning shaped everything that followed. In 2012, the Dnipro-based perfumer launched Partisan Parfums, a small independent house built on stubbornness, curiosity, and a deliberate refusal to do things the conventional way. He runs the brand as both creator and creative director, keeping every aspect of the work under his own control. While Ukraine has rarely appeared on the global perfume map, Perevertaylo built something quietly distinct in the country's industrial heart. He caught wider attention through collaborations like Sofiya Dolna White Peony, which showcased his willingness to approach florals without deference to tradition. Sugar Daddy, launched in 2013, gave early indication of his fearlessness with materials like leather and birch. With six fragrances in his catalog, he represents a growing cohort of independent perfumers who chose creative autonomy over industry access.
