‘Wunder’, German for ‘wonder’, emerged from Mavemade’s 2021 launch of nine modular unisex scents. Perfumer Philippine Courtière set out to capture that moment of delighted surprise, choosing a single exotic fruit, lychee, paired with comforting almond milk and caramel. The brief, three-note structure reflects the brand’s belief that a fragrance should be a building block, easy to wear alone or to layer with its siblings for new facets.

Lychee brings a crisp, tropical brightness that instantly lifts the mood, while almond milk adds a velvety, nutty softness that tempers the fruit’s zing. Caramel anchors the composition with a buttery sweetness, turning the fleeting fruit into a lingering gourmand trail.
