A house, in its own words
Ne'emah For Fragrance & Oudh was established in 1997 in Kuwait. Its founder, Mohammed Ne'emah, began with a small shop selling only a few fragrances, and the house has expanded steadily from that modest starting point into an internationally distributed oriental perfume label. By 2009, the brand had entered Sephora across the Middle East, a significant step that brought its Arabian-rooted perfumery into a mainstream multi-brand retail environment for the first time. The Collections No.6 and No.8, both released that year, helped introduce Ne'emah to a wider audience during that retail expansion. Subsequent years saw a steady rhythm of releases: Laya, Noir Oudh, and Desert Rose all arrived in 2012, followed by Chateau Rouge, Shahla, Ne'emah Pour Homme, and Ne'emah Scent in 2013. The brand remains based in Kuwait, with operations spanning retail, distribution, and an independent perfumery practice led by its founder. Mohammed Ne'emah has spoken about the art of perfumery as a way of capturing moments and bottling them as scent. The house frames fragrance as memory made tangible, an exercise in personal expression rather than mass-market appeal. From inception, Ne'emah positioned itself on the uncompromising search for quality ingredients and a sophisticated simplicity of composition, a philosophy that favors balance and clarity over excess. The catalog reflects this restraint: alongside dense oud-led creations, the brand offers lighter, more transparent scents like Ne'emah Scent, suggesting a perfumer interested in range rather than a single signature. The result is an approach that treats Arabian perfumery as a living craft, open to contemporary influence while remaining rooted in its own traditions.
