Heritage
A house, in its own words
Duccio Pasolini Parfums was founded in 2018 in New York by Duccio Pasolini, an Italian entrepreneur who brought a fashion oriented sensibility to fragrance creation. The house launched publicly in 2019 with its first collection, the Ghiaccio series, a set of five color themed extraits released in quick succession across that year. The Ghiaccio editions (Bianco, Nero, Verde, Viola, and Giallo) introduced a naming system based on the Italian words for white, black, green, purple, and yellow, which became the visual signature of the brand. In the years following the debut, Duccio Pasolini Parfums expanded its distribution through specialty retailers in the United States and Canada, including partnerships with select boutique fragrance distributors. A later addition to the Ghiaccio family, Ghiaccio Marrone, was spotted by enthusiasts in physical retail, signaling continued growth of the core line. The brand maintains its headquarters in New York while drawing on Italian cultural references for its creative direction, creating a bridge between European aesthetic tradition and the American niche fragrance scene. The creative vision behind Duccio Pasolini Parfums centers on the idea that fragrance should be an extension of personal style, drawing a direct line between the worlds of European fashion and scent. The founder's Italian heritage informs a design philosophy that treats each fragrance as a deliberate aesthetic statement, with color serving as a primary organizing principle rather than an afterthought. Rather than chasing trends or producing large scale commercial scents, the house focuses on a curated catalog of extrait formulations that reward wearers who view scent as part of a considered daily ritual. This approach reflects a belief that concentration and quality of materials matter more than volume or ubiquity, and that a small, intentional portfolio can communicate more clearly than an extensive one.
