Heritage
A house, in its own words
DKHOUN traces its origins to Dkhoun National Trading Company, founded around 2010, with the broader company profile listing 2014 as an alternate founding marker. The company began as a specialist in perfumes, bakhoor, and oud blends, then grew into one of the most visible fragrance retailers in Saudi Arabia. A mobile app and online store extended the brand beyond its physical footprint. Today, DKHOUN operates more than 80 branches across every region of Saudi Arabia and trades publicly on the financial market. The growth has been consistent and deliberate: store by store, category by category, from a single incense and oud shop into a national destination for oriental perfumery. Their stated mission has always been to revive the authenticity of traditional oriental fragrances, a positioning that shapes every aisle, every collection, and every product category they expand into. DKHOUN frames itself as a guardian of authentic oriental fragrance rather than a conventional perfume label. The brand's creative vision centers on preserving the sensory rituals of the Arabian Peninsula, the slow burn of bakhoor, the depth of aged oud, the richness of oil-based perfumes, while making them accessible to a modern customer. Where many fragrance houses chase European codes of luxury, DKHOUN celebrates its own. The house leans into the categories that define Gulf perfumery: mukhallat, oud oils, incense, and bakhoor blends. Their language on packaging and digital channels emphasizes heritage, timelessness, and curation, presenting each release as part of a broader story rather than a standalone bottle. It is a philosophy that treats fragrance as cultural memory, not just personal style.
