    Thiago Vidotto

Thiago Vidotto builds things. Not content with one medium, he has shaped spaces as an architect, brought characters to life as an animator at Valve Software, forged steel as an apprentice bladesmith with the American Bladesmith Society, and tested limits as an amateur racer with CVMA and WMRRA. Born in Brazil and trained at the University of Sao Paulo, Vidotto moved to the Pacific Northwest and found his way into game development, where his understanding of form, movement, and emotion translates across disciplines. Now he is turning that restless creativity toward fragrance, developing a personal brand that reflects someone who has never been content to master just one thing. No formal perfumery training appears in his background, but his hands know how to work, and his eye knows what matters. The fragrance chapter is just beginning, and Vidotto approaches it with the same intensity he brings to everything else: seriously, precisely, and on his own terms.

    How Thiago composes

Vidotto's tastes run bold and unconventional. His background in animation and architecture informs a sensibility drawn to contrasts, strong forms, and the relationship between individual elements and complete compositions. In fragrance, this translates to an interest in unusual material combinations and accords that challenge expectations. His public appreciation for Megamare by Orto Parisi suggests a leaning toward intensity, aquatic depth, and assertiveness. For now, he remains in the developmental phase, building a vocabulary before presenting it to the world. The work promises something that refuses easy categorization.

    Philosophy

    What drives Thiago

Vidotto has said it plainly: florals are not his thing. He gravitates toward the unexpected, the structural, the materials that require something from the wearer. His approach to scent mirrors his broader creative philosophy—craft as a way of understanding the world, not decorating it. He builds in layers the way he builds in any medium, starting with a foundation and working outward. Fragrance, to him, is not an accessory. It is a statement, and statements require commitment. The work ahead will tell the rest, but the foundation suggests someone who cares less about trends than about truth in materials.
