Simone Andreoli
Simone Andreoli entered the perfume world in 2011, fresh from a classical apprenticeship that took him to Grasse and back to his native Italy. By 2014 he launched Simone Andreoli Diario Olfattivo, a boutique label that treats each bottle as a page in a personal diary. The young nose earned the nickname “the youngest Italian nose” when, at 26, he began releasing a series of seven fully Italian‑made scents. Interviews reveal a creator who balances youthful confidence with a reflective, soulful tone. His early work attracted attention for its direct intensity, and subsequent releases such as Profumi Eterno, Sentosa, and Apricot Innocence have cemented his reputation as a thoughtful artisan who translates memory into scent. Today he continues to expand his olfactory archive while mentoring emerging talent in Milan’s vibrant perfume community.

How Simone composes
Andreoli favors a straightforward, intense palette that avoids unnecessary ornamentation. He builds around a strong central accord—often a bright citrus, a rich floral, or a deep amber—and supports it with carefully selected accent notes. Natural absolutes such as Italian bergamot, Tuscan lavender, and Sicilian orange blossom appear frequently, while synthetic facets are introduced only when they sharpen focus. He employs a layering technique that lets the top note dissolve into the heart without losing definition, ensuring the dry‑down remains memorable. The result is a series of scents that feel immediate, vivid, and unmistakably his.
Philosophy
What drives Simone
Andreoli believes fragrance should act as a living memory, a tactile echo of moments that shape us. He approaches each composition as a dialogue between past experience and present feeling, letting emotion dictate structure rather than the reverse. The nose behind the diary seeks honesty above trend, preferring ingredients that trigger a visceral response. He treats every blend as a personal confession, aiming to leave a clear, lasting impression on the wearer’s senses. This commitment to authenticity drives his choice of materials, his dedication to Italian craftsmanship, and his willingness to experiment within a disciplined framework.
