Pierre Ravan
Pierre Ravan spent thirty years immersed in the luxury fragrance world before he ever conceived a single scent under his own name. He began in the early 1990s as an official distributor of prestige perfumes across Eastern Europe and the Middle East, building an expertise in fine fragrance that would eventually inform everything he created. But Ravan has never been content with a single lane. A pioneering force in electronic music, he became one of the world's first Spiritual House DJs, weaving meditative elements into club culture at a time when dance music rarely looked inward. He worked as a high-end fashion collaborator and global club-headliner, yet the pull toward stillness grew stronger. Certified as a yoga teacher and a Heartfulness Meditation trainer, Ravan developed the KaRavan concept, a spiritual journey through sound. The transition to perfumery felt inevitable: scent, like music, reaches parts of the psyche that words cannot touch. Eternal Journey, his niche fragrance house, represents the culmination of this convergence between mindfulness and craft. Ravan approaches fragrance as he approaches a DJ set or a meditation session, asking what a person needs to feel more whole. He is currently based in Dubai, where he continues to train and teach while building his olfactory vision. The brand launched House of, a collection of three inaugural scents, marking the first time his philosophy took liquid form. This is a creator who spent decades learning how others made perfume before trusting himself to make something entirely his own.

How Pierre composes
Ravan brings the sensibilities of a wellness practitioner to the precision of classical perfumery. His aesthetic leans contemplative rather than loud, favoring compositions that unfold gradually and reward sustained attention. After thirty years studying the fragrance industry from a distribution perspective, he understands which materials carry weight and which fade. His training in yoga and Heartfulness informs a methodical, unhurried approach to blending. The inaugural House of collection reflects this philosophy, offering three distinct expressions of his vision without a shared formula or obvious lineage. Rather than rely on crowd-pleasing constructions, Ravan appears drawn to ingredients that carry spiritual or geographical resonance, though he has not publicly detailed his specific palette. The Eternal Journey house signature remains in formation, but the early work suggests a perfumer who values depth, subtlety, and the space between notes over immediate impact. He is building something meant to last, not something designed to trend.
Philosophy
What drives Pierre
For Pierre Ravan, fragrance is a meditative practice. After decades as a DJ and meditation trainer, he views scent as a vehicle for inner exploration, much like music creates space for the soul to move. His creative process begins not with a fragrance pyramid or a list of ingredients, but with a question: what should a person feel when they wear this? He designs from the inside out, starting with the emotional territory he wants to inhabit and working backward toward materials. This inversion reflects his spiritual practice, where intention precedes action. Ravan has spoken about Eternal Journey as something heartfelt and grounded in authenticity, rejecting the notion that luxury perfume must remain detached from the inner life. He believes fragrance can support a person in living more honestly, which explains why his work emphasizes presence over performance. He is not interested in creating scents that overpower a room. He wants to create scents that ground a person in themselves.
