Eric Moraldo
Eric Moraldo represents the rare breed of perfumer born into legacy. As the third generation of his family to work in French perfumery, he grew up surrounded by raw materials and formulations, absorbing the craft before he could articulate what it meant. He joined the family business, MORAFLOR, in 1994 and took the helm in 1996, steering the house through its third generation of continuous operation. For nearly three decades, he refined his expertise away from the consumer eye, working behind the scenes as a perfumer serving other brands. In 2023, he stepped into the spotlight with KOESIO Parfums, a venture that let him put his personal philosophy directly into finished products. The move from B2B composition to brand creation marked a new chapter, one that brought his accumulated knowledge of materials and structure to a retail audience for the first time.

How Eric composes
His compositions tend toward structured depth, with careful attention to how a fragrance evolves on skin. Eric favors quality botanical materials, selecting each ingredient for its role in the overall architecture rather than its novelty. His style balances classic French elegance with contemporary restraint, avoiding excess in favor of clarity. The KOESIO Parfums line demonstrates his preference for compositions that feel considered and deliberate, where nothing shouts and everything earns its place.
Philosophy
What drives Eric
Eric believes fragrance should reveal rather than announce. His approach centers on authenticity, on creating scents that feel like an extension of the person wearing them rather than a costume. He draws from the deep tradition of Grasse perfumery but resists nostalgia as a guiding principle. What drives him is the conviction that scent carries meaning, that the right combination of materials can evoke something specific and personal. He speaks of revealing essence, of helping people discover something true about themselves through smell.
