Anas Alghabra
Anas Alghabra grew up surrounded by fragrance. His father was a perfumer, and from boyhood, Anas absorbed the craft like a second language. He learned to distinguish materials by smell, studied the architecture of accords, and developed a nose that would later define his own creative path. After earning a Business Administration degree, he moved to Istanbul in 2013 and immersed himself in the city's historic perfume industry. He collaborated with established fragrance houses, worked as an exporter of fine fragrances, and spent years understanding the commercial and creative dimensions of the business. In 2019, he launched Alghabra Parfums, a brand built on his father's legacy and his own uncompromising standards. The debut collection, PER FUMUS, arrived that same year, signaling the arrival of a distinct voice in contemporary perfumery.

How Anas composes
Alghabra gravitates toward rich, warm materials with depth and presence. Oud, amber, and rose appear frequently in his formulations, reflecting his Middle Eastern roots. He favors bold sillage and long-lasting bases, constructing fragrances that evolve over hours rather than minutes. His signature technique involves layering contrasting elements, combining resinous warmth with crisp botanical accents to create tension and release. He works primarily with natural materials sourced through his industry contacts in Istanbul, allowing authenticity to drive the final composition. The result feels rooted in tradition without sounding dated.
Philosophy
What drives Anas
Alghabra believes perfume should carry memory and emotion, not just scent. His approach begins with a story he wants to tell, then finds the materials that can express it honestly. He rejects the idea that luxury means complexity for its own sake. Instead, he focuses on clarity and balance, asking himself whether each element serves the overall vision. His work draws from the olfactory traditions of the Middle East and Turkey while remaining accessible to a global audience. Alghabra measures success not by industry accolades but by the moment someone wears his fragrance and feels something shift.
