Iskander is for the person who doesn't need the room to know they've entered it. The opening is all sharp citrus and green herbs, confident, bracing, but give it time and the oakmoss shows up.Iskander
Every house has done a fresh fragrance. The problem is most of them stop there, the opening shine, then blank. Eau Sauvage Cologne is different. François Demachy put all the energy in the top but made sure the heart has substance and the base has weight. It doesn't smell like most colognes, which smell like air fresheners and waiting rooms. Dior's version smells like it just walked in from the Mediterranean coast in the sunshine, citrus and woody depth coexisting, making you remember this isn't your grandfather's herbal remedy.Eau Sauvage
