Guru Scent emerged in the early 2010s, releasing its debut fragrances in 2012. The house introduced Guru Scent Man and Guru Scent Woman as its foundational offerings, establishing a duality at the heart of its identity from the start. Within a single year, the brand expanded significantly, launching the Alkimia duo in 2013 alongside the Acquadueo collection featuring four color-coded variations. This rapid output indicates a house with clear creative direction and ambition to establish itself across multiple fragrance territories simultaneously. The use of Italian-inflected names like Acquadueo and Alkimia suggests Mediterranean sensibilities, though the precise origins of the house remain somewhat opaque.
