Apryl Webb traded blueprints for bottles when she left her career as an architectural technologist in Cambridge and pursued her obsession with scent. Encouraged by mentors and fuelled by late-night study sessions, she emerged as a certified perfumer and founded Fen Witch Formulas, her indie and artisan label rooted in the misty flatlands of the Fens near Cambridge. She later co-founded The Fragrance Engineers, a venture that shares her love of structural composition applied to scent. Webb's unusual path from technical drafting to fragrance formulation gives her work a sense of intention; every accord feels considered, every composition built with the precision of someone who once read floor plans for a living. Today she divides her time between bespoke commissions, where she crafts personal formulations for clients and gifts, and her own growing catalogue of atmospheric, place-inspired fragrances.
